Hello! I'm Diane Riordan, a Certified Art is 4 Every 1 Paint Instructor and proud owner of Painting Inspires, a registered business in the state of Florida. My passion lies in uplifting others through art—especially the elderly and individuals with special needs—by leading motivational painting classes that spark creativity and joy. I also specialize in custom artwork and highly sought-after pet portraits that celebrate the bond between people and their beloved companions.

🎨 A Lifelong Love for Art Art has been a part of my life since childhood. With the encouragement of my parents and grandmother, I attended art camps and studio classes that nurtured my creativity. Summers spent painting alongside my grandmother in her senior art classes left a lasting impression on me. In high school, I pursued college prep courses in art and was honored with a scholarship to Wesleyan University’s Center for Creative Youth, a prestigious residency that deepened my appreciation for diverse artistic styles and talents from around the world.

🏡 A Journey Back to My Passion My husband and I now share our home with our black lab, Finnegan. A few years ago, we relocated to be closer to my aging parents—a move that reignited my love for painting. With my husband’s support, I returned to art classes and embraced my calling as a professional artist. Becoming certified to teach Art is 4 Every 1 was a pivotal moment, blending my work ethic, creativity, and compassion into a fulfilling entrepreneurial path.

💛 Art That Connects and Heals I’ve had the privilege of teaching painting at camps for youth with special needs and working with elderly individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. These experiences have been deeply rewarding, reinforcing my belief in art’s power to heal, connect, and inspire.

🐾 Pet Portraits with Heart My naturalistic pet portraits began as a hobby and have grown into a cherished part of my business. Dogs hold a special place in my heart, and I take great care in capturing each pet’s spirit and personality. Whether honoring a pet’s joyful life or memorializing a beloved companion, my hand-painted portraits are designed to evoke warmth and lasting memories. While dogs and cats are my specialty, I’m happy to accommodate requests for other animals as well.
